With a Debt Management Plan there is an initial fee and an ongoing monthly fee. Our initial fee is the first month’s payment. Our monthly fee is 15.24% of each payment subject to a minimum of £25 pm.
Other solutions that we can provide access to, such as an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) involve fees when the plan is set up and on an ongoing basis. As these have to be arranged by a licensed insolvency practitioner we will, with your consent, refer you to a carefully selected practitioner. An IVA incurs a nominee fee which is usually in the region of £1500 to £2500 and supervisory fees which could be approximately £1500 over the term of the IVA. These fees are there to cover the expenses and work undertaken on your behalf and are agreed with your creditors. You will always be told clearly about any fees by the insolvency practitioner before you enter into an IVA.
Other solutions, such as a Debt Relief Order or Bankruptcy incur fees which are payable to the Court. Although we can help to identify if these solutions are appropriate we are unable to arrange them for you.
